Raintree Press publishes books, papers, and artifacts from Raintree Technology. It is Raintree-led, not an open submissions press. The current focus is durable nonfiction, formal systems work, companion research, web reader editions, and direct distribution.

The site exists to make the work readable, inspectable, and ownable, not to wrap it in marketing theater.

Formal papers, generated datasets, source notes, and artifact kits belong beside the books they support.
Direct ownership
Direct buyers should get a web reader and DRM-free EPUB/PDF files when a title is final.
Wide distribution
Kindle, wide ebook channels, and print-on-demand are distribution surfaces; the press site remains the home of record.
Relationship to Raintree Technology
Raintree Technology builds software, data systems, and developer tools. Raintree Press publishes the longer-form work around those systems: books, formal papers, companion datasets, and editions that should outlive a launch post.
